Salinity Treatments

Peak Salt

Peak Salt is a Turkish-origin fertilizer designed to treat soil salinity, It contains high concentrations of calcium (Ca), sulfur, and organic matter chelated with carboxylic acids, which helps reduce the levels of all salts in the soil and water, This is due to its high ability to exchange positive ions, which replace sodium (Na⁺) and contribute to lowering the soil PH.

Peak Salt

composition:

Calcium 14%
Sulfur 2.95%
Organic Acids 13.5%
Polyhydroxy Carboxylic Acid 13.5%

Features:

  • Reduces the toxicity levels of sodium salts and lowers E.S.P & S.A.R levels, as well as soluble salts (chlorides, sulfates, carbonates) when using irrigation water with excess salts. This provides the roots with a stress-free area and creates an ideal environment for growth.
  • Helps break the bond between sodium ions and chloride, allowing calcium to remove sodium ions. This corrects soil degradation and helps maintain soil structure without destruction, leading to better aeration, which in turn supports root spread.
  • Expels excess salts from the soil, thus reducing stress caused by the osmotic pressure of the soil solution by forming organic compounds with chlorine.
  • Increases the biological activity of the plant as a whole, especially in the root zone, due to the presence of organic matter and dissolved carbon, providing the energy and biological activity necessary for the plant.
  • Rearranges soil particles, increasing permeability and aeration around the roots.
  • Increases osmotic pressure in the roots, facilitating nutrient absorption through the roots, which activates growth in plants.
  • Provides a source of absorbable calcium that corrects calcium deficiency and aids in better fertilizer uptake.
  • Improves the quality and shelf life of fresh fruit by increasing the amount of calcium present in the cell wall.
  • Enhances root renewal and nutrient uptake thanks to the high amount of active organic acids.
  • Can be used as a foliar spray or through various irrigation systems, whether drip or spray.

General Usage Rate:

Soil salinity: 2.5 liters per acre, repeated as needed.

Water salinity: 2.5 liters per acre for each application, repeated as needed.

Drip irrigation: 2 - 5 liters per acre depending on salinity levels, repeated as needed.

Pivot spraying: 3 - 6 liters per acre depending on salinity levels, repeated as needed.

Application Rate:

One dose every week or every two weeks depending on soil and irrigation water salinity.
