TOKARIV 5% EC

Tokariv is a non-systemic pyrethroid insecticide of Jordanian origin that acts by contact and through the digestive system (toxic via ingestion), Each liter contains 50 grams of the active ingredient deltamethrin in the form of a concentrated emulsion (EC), It is a broad-spectrum, highly toxic, high-quality, and efficient solution for the eradication of various insect pests.

TOKARIV 5% EC

composition:

Deltamethrin 5%

Mode of Action:

It works by blocking sodium channels in the central nervous system of insects, affecting the nerve receptors. This inhibits and stops nerve signals and closes the respiratory openings of insects, resulting in weakened respiration and suffocation due to feeding on plant sap, leading to paralysis, cessation of feeding, and certain death within minutes.

Advantages:

  • This insecticide has a repellent, shocking, and rapid effect, affecting both crawling and flying stages immediately, which reduces egg-laying on crops and consequently lowers their population.
  • It is an effective insecticide with a high capacity for rapid and immediate eradication of many insects that attack various crops, such as (whiteflies, fruit worms, fruit flies, leafhoppers, potato tuber moths, cotton leafworms, spiny and clove bollworms, leaf miners, mealybugs, date palm weevils, aphids, beetles, thrips, wireworms, and jassids).
  • It has a high stability level under rainy conditions and high temperatures.
  • This insecticide has a low residual effect, which reduces the pre-harvest interval, making it suitable for use on export crops.
  • It provides long-lasting protection for crops due to its strong active ingredients within the pyrethroid group, demonstrating effectiveness even at low doses.
  • It is environmentally safe and non-toxic to beneficial organisms and does not cause toxicity to plants when used at recommended doses.
  • It features high permeability against insects that have developed resistance to other organophosphate and carbamate insecticides.
  • It offers comprehensive protection for plants and prevents insects from transmitting viral diseases.
  • It can be mixed with most insecticides, except for alkaline ones.
  • The pre-harvest interval (PHI) ranges from 3 to 7 days, depending on the type of crop.

General Usage Rate:

50 cm³ per 100 liters of water for a duration of 7 days.
